After bidding adios to the Denver Broncos, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy faced them for the first time as an opponent in Week 13 of this season. Many labeled this as his revenge game, and after witnessing his stellar performance, he too regarded it as an act of revenge.

Regardless of how he felt on the inside, the Cleveland Browns star wide receiver maintained a composed demeanor while competing against his former team. However, the relentless booing from the Broncos fans appeared to push him off his limits, prompting a fitting response when asked about it in the post-game press conference.

There were a lot of boos, huh? What that mean? A lot of catches, too. They only boo you when they know there’s something great in you.

The star wideout finished the game with 235 receiving yards and a 70-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Jameis Winston. His yardage total was the highest receiving yards posted by a player in the first game against his former team. However, ultimately, what mattered most to Jeudy was the victory he fell short of achieving. That’s why he was willing to sacrifice his yardage for the sake of the win.

Hell yeah, I would,” Jeudy said when asked if he would trade his yardage for the victory.

They can have that. I need that W. That was one step closer to get to the playoffs. We need that.

Additionally, Jeudy also became the fourth wide receiver in Cleveland to record a 200-yard-plus game. Amari Cooper sits at the top with 265 yards which he recorded last season during a game against the Houston Texans.

Ahead of the thrilling Monday Night Football Match, Jeudy opened up about how his tenure came to an end in Denver. He had been requesting a trade way before the deal between the Broncos and Browns was finalized this offseason, for two consecutive seasons. He joined the Browns in a three-year extension contract worth $58 million

It just wasn’t working over there. I felt like I was a way better player than they used me as. I wanted to go somewhere that would use me, see my full potential, and take advantage of it.

Jerry Jeudy said in a conversation with ESPN

The wide receiver started this season with Deshaun Watson in the starting lineup, which also affected his game. However, when the franchise brought in Winston, who not only emerged as one of the leading quarterbacks in the league, Jeudy’s performance also elevated dramatically.
