Shedeur Sanders has played just 2 games as the Cleveland Browns’ starting quarterback, but has not been able to get it going with star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The latter fumbled a 50-yard connection against the Las Vegas Raiders, which drew the ire of both fans and analysts, who felt Jeudy was trying to do more than stick to the basics.
Then there was the animated sideline rant in their last game where the wideout was clapping his hands, and trying to gesture what he felt the rookie QB was doing wrong.
Again, analysts and former players flamed the former 15th overall pick for trying to throw the blame on Shedeur Sanders instead of looking at his own mistakes.
That incident raised questions about the state of the Browns, as their leading pass catcher was allegedly unhappy with his current starting quarterback.
I would probably would just talked to him off camera… Me and Shedeur good, everything good. Stuff like that happens.
Jerry Jeudy replied
This was the Alabama alum’s response when asked what he would have done differently, especially after his sideline rant towards his quarterback drew intense backlash.

The 26-year-old believes the media blew that clip out of proportion. According to Jeudy, the reality is different, as he and Sanders have a positive relationship.
On top of that, he believes such discussions between teammates are crucial to the team’s success. Therefore, it was nothing on the lines of what fans and analysts thought.
Shedeur Sanders diplomatically answers Jerry Jeudy’s situation
After speaking with Jerry Jeudy, reporters wanted to know Shedeur Sanders’ perspective, as they wanted to know if the ‘victim’ of that explosive rant was ‘good’ as his wideout said he was.

We resolved that we are not going to speak on it… I would say, just getting on the same page. The hardest thing in this game right now is having trust… It’s a challenge, and I know we are going to overcome the challenge.
Shedeur Sanders told reporters
In the first part of his answer, it seems the Colorado Buffaloes star does not want to reveal the details of their conversations after the game, as he believes they have resolved it, and does not need any more scrutiny.

Then the rookie talked about how the nuances of the game are difficult to get right, and he hopes constant dialogue can fix it. This attitude could go a long way to help Shedeur Sanders develop chemistry with his teammates.
Shedeur Sanders talks about chemistry with his receivers
After talking about how he wants to improve his relationship with his receivers, a reporter quizzed Shedeur Sanders about what he needed to do to get on the same page with his pass catchers.
The Texas native mentioned that as he continues to watch film, he is understanding how the game is coming to him. Then he detailed that the game is now starting to slow down for him, instead of when he was struggling to get to grips with his debut.
The hardest thing in this game right now is having trust. Certain movements, the way we make eye contact, it’s so detailed. That’s how I play comfortably. That’s how I get in my bag.
Shedeur Sanders said
The 23-year-old then explained that he wants to throw the ball quicker than he likes, but that depends on how he continues to understand and read the game.

If anything, this sideline rant could show major improvements when the Tennessee Titans arrive in Cleveland next week. The Browns will be facing the worst team, which means the 5th round pick will have a good chance to add another win under his belt.
