The Dallas Cowboys have trailed by 20+ points at some point in the last six straight home games. They have carried over the broken compass since last year’s wildcard loss against the Green Bay Packers.

Nothing has been right for the Cowboys this season. The offseason drama received much attention from the Cowboys, especially from management, for their late actions and inactions. They couldn’t continue their initial win as poor performance continued to haunt the team. As if it were some analogy, the sheet from AT&T Stadium symbolized the Cowboys’ fall from a 36-15 record in the last three years to 3-7 in eleven weeks of 2024.

Amidst the same, there have been multiple talks of internal conflicts. In the last few weeks, there have been rumors that head coach Mike McCarthy will lose the locker room. More recently, general manager and owner Jerry Jones has come out in support of the coach.

Yes I do. Yes I do. That’s overblown. That losing the team stuff, that’s so overblown.

Jerry Jones told the reporters

Jones stated that the team members are natural competitors who take immense pride in their professionalism. He added that while the players might feel disappointed in how a particular play was executed, there is no sense of resignation or giving up within the locker room.

First of all, they’re natural competitors. Secondly, they’re so proud of the fact that they’re professionals. Disappointed? Disappointed in maybe the way they executed a play, but not anything that’s brother or first cousin to give up. That’s not in that locker room. Really, it’s not.

Jerry Jones added

As the Cowboys struggle to win games, McCarthy’s chair is one of the hot seats at the moment. Considering his contract ends soon, Jones could be running this season out with him. McCarthy who won Aaron Rodgers his only championship hasn’t been able to resonate the postseason success with the Cowboys yet.

Amid Dallas’ five-game losing streak, calls for Mike McCarthy removal mounts

The season is all but over for America’s Team, as starting quarterback Dak Prescott was recently ruled out for the remainder of the year. In Prescott’s absence, Cooper Rush took charge against the Texans, but he hasn’t been able to deliver results so far.

Amid the signal-calling chaos, fans and critics have been on the Deion Sanders train to oust Mike McCarthy. Michael Irvin echoed the fans’ sentiment when he shared frustration over the Cowboys’ form.

I spent Friday night with Jerry Jones. I spent Saturday with @DeionSanders I spent Sunday with the lord PRAYING for ???? ????? (GUEST WHAT) Now after what the @dallascowboys looked like on Monday Night Football. Gotta work harder!!!

Sanders has been exceptional in revolutionizing the Colorado Buffaloes. The HOFer revitalized the club as they continued delivering positive results week after week. The Buffs are 8-2 to the season with a 6-1 record in the Big 12. They are second only to the BYU Cougars (9-1) in the division.

Deion Sanders is known for his calm and collected nature despite not being a fan favorite. He has been instrumental in developing a bounce-back attitude in his squad, showcasing during the dominant win over Texas Tech. If anything the Cowboys need at this moment, it would be a bounce back no one expected.
