Just a couple of days after asking his players to not lose confidence in head coach Mike McCarthy, Jerry Jones appears to be open to the idea of bringing in a talent as prominent as Deion Sanders– who took Colorado from 1-11 season to 8-2 in two years, aiming to be Big 12 contenders.
Since the Cowboys continue walking the path of disaster with a five-game losing streak and a 3-7 record, former head coach-turned-analyst Rex Ryan suggested Coach Prime’s name to replace McCarthy next season. After him, many analysts supported the suggestion, to the point where Dallas legend Michael Irvin drew a blueprint for them to land Sanders.
And Jones seemingly appeared to have listened. In his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jones touched on the subject of Sanders’ remarkable success in college football after leading the Colorado Buffaloes to qualify for a bowl game after an eight-year drought.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when asked on @1053thefan about Deion Sanders' coaching future in the NFL: "I think we're way ahead of ourselves relative to when and if he decides to go into coaching in the NFL.

This high praise for Sanders led many to believe the billionaire NFL team owner is actually considering the addition of two-time Super Bowl champions– both with the Cowboys and moving on from McCarthy.
Deion Sanders quashes Dallas Cowboys speculation
Coach Prime has also addressed the ongoing suggestions of joining his former NFL team next season after parting ways with Colorado with his son, Shedeur Sanders. Contrary to Jones, Deion shut down the speculations, affirming that he is committed to Colorado and does not plan to leave anytime soon.
Irvin asked Deion if he is contemplating a return to Texas as savior of his former team, in his appearance on FS1’s Speak a week ago, but he dismissed the speculations replying, “Oh Lord, don’t start that. I love it where I am.”
He may not be considering joining Dallas, but Deion is certainly thinking about following his son into the NFL, with whichever team will draft him. He aims to ensure Shedeur’s success in the league, believing his guidance is essential.
