“What lovely curtains you have there!” – Jerry Jones putting up curtains at AT&T Stadium for Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight has Cowboys fans losing it
Amidst rampant criticism after CeeDee Lamb's missed touchdown, curtains come up at Jerry Jones' AT&T Stadium ahead of boxing match.

In the second half of their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys had no chance of winning. But in the first half, they had the chance to take the lead. If only CeeDee Lamb could see the ball as Jerry Jones never put up the curtains at AT&T stadium.
CeeDee Lamb instantly gestured that he could not see the ball, as those watching at home saw the ball fall in behind him. It was a missed opportunity for the Cowboys as Lamb did not have any defender covering that pass from either side. That catch could have given them the lead.
If anything, it could have helped pile the pressure on the visiting Philadelphia Eagles. But it came to nothing as the confident away side went to score on the next drive and eventually win the game 34-6. More importantly, Jerry Jones lost his cool when someone asked him about the curtains.
His words suggested he was not going to put curtains up just because of that missed touchdown. However, pictures on the AT&T Stadium’s official X account came to the attention of fans. The heavyweight boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is scheduled to take place at that very stadium.
In the pictures, it is evident that the curtains were down to block the sunlight. It has also been noted by a few reporters that this is something they do whenever the stadium hosts concerts or events such as the upcoming boxing match or WWE events.

Putting up curtains at your stadium for Jake Paul and not your $240 million quarterback is crazy work

But strangely, never used for football games where sunlight does affect players. Jones made it seem as if it has been that way all the time and it helps the home team. But this time, it was his own team that fell victim to it.
Fans take shots at Jerry Jones for using curtains for boxing match
Fans found it amusing that just a few days ago, Jerry Jones was throwing a tirade at reporters for questioning the curtains. Even going as far as suggesting that the team should tear down the stadium and build another one.

Dallas Cowboys fans did not take well to those comments, as they bore the brunt of the footballing world trolling them. Now they came back on social media to troll Jones and the franchise for doing something they should have before. Check out some of those comments below.

@Mr4thAndLong you want any more proof that the football team means very little to Jerry and it’s all about being “entertainment” and the almighty dollar. I think I spy curtains ?Ladies and gentlemen we have a new worst owner in sports‼️

This is how you know he don't want to win! Put up curtains for a fight but not for your team?!

With Dak Prescott out, the team has a tough task ahead to make something out of their season. Some suggest tanking to take advantage of this situation and retool. Then come back next year to be in a position to fight for the playoffs.
