Jerry Jones made an interesting comment about the Philadelphia Eagles’ locker room situation ahead of the crucial Week 12 game on Sunday. According to the veteran Dallas Cowboys owner, he will gladly welcome similar tension in the Cowboys locker room as long as he gets to enjoy Super Bowl victories like the Eagles.
The Cowboys are looking to gain ground on their divisional rivals after a midseason slump. During that period, Jones’ team suffered defeats against the Panthers, Broncos, and the Cardinals.
In Week 11, the Cowboys paid a visit to the den of the struggling Las Vegas Raiders and won 33-16. The win came at the right moment. On Sunday, the Cowboys play the 8-2 Eagles.
Even though the NFC table toppers are the overwhelming favorites to win, outside infringements can make an impact. The relationship between Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and All-Pro receiver AJ Brown is at an all-time low, and many fear this could prove to be the catalyst for the Eagles’ downfall against the Cowboys.
Jerry Jones knows exactly what’s going on in Philly, but unlike most people, he chooses to see it from a different perspective. Speaking on a recent segment of 105.3 The Fan, Jones admitted that such tension is prevalent in every locker room. What makes the Eagles’ situation special is that the team continues to find ways to win games despite a lack of visual cohesiveness.
Give me some of that strife.
Jerry Jones said
Jones won’t mind a locker room with differing opinions as long as the Cowboys start winning Super Bowls again.
There are a lot of different thoughts that go on when you have that many people working together [in a group]. That’s the importance of the team. That’s important to sort out what’s important to winning football games. That’s the key. What is important to winning football games? Every boat rises, everybody will get to hear a little more music and a lot more happiness if you can all come together and win the game.

Jerry Jones opened up about CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens visiting a Vegas Casino
Along with discussing the problems in the Eagles’ locker room, Jones also brought up recent issues concerning his players, especially CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. The two Cowboys wide receivers received punishment for hitting a Vegas casino prior to the game at Allegiant Stadium.

Jones supported the decision taken by the Cowboys’ front office as it was a violation of the work code.
Yes, I do [have a problem with players ditching the team for extracurricular activities]… The idea is that this is a business trip. Let’s get down to business. Let’s check it all back in Dallas, and let’s get in here. See, that’s the night that they spend the night together, as you know, they can say, but it’s not quite the same routine, let’s put it like that, that it is when you’re home.

Jerry Jones on @1053thefan when talking about CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens missing curfew, he was asked if he has a problem with players partying the night before a game: “Yes, I do. I don’t have any problem with partying. … But the idea is this is a business trip.”

As punishment, head coach Brian Schottenheimer benched both Lamb and Pickens for the first series of the game against the Raiders. It mattered little in the outcome after the duo jointly racked up 14 total receptions for 200+ yards and 2 touchdowns.
Quarterback Dak Prescott threw 25 completions from 33 pass attempts for 268 yards (75.7%), 4 touchdowns, zero interceptions, and a quarterback rating of 147.17.
The Cowboys need a similar performance from the offense against the Eagles. They narrowly lost the reverse fixture by a four-point margin. Prescott did not throw a single touchdown pass but set up running back JaVonte Williams for 2 scores on the ground.
