Jesse Lingard is all set to complete his loan move to West Ham United. The midfielder has fallen out of favour at Manchester United, after the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.

According to the English press, Lingard has rejected deals from Newcastle and West Brom and accepted a move to London.  The 28 year old has not featured for Manchester United in the league since July.

The midfielder has only 3 appearances for United this season. The arrivals of Bruno Fernandes and Van De Beek have made them automatic choices in the starting lineup over Lingard.

Lingard is expected to have his medical in Manchester before travelling to London to complete the move. The clubs are yet to confirm a transfer. However, Lingard has all but confirmed the move with an Instagram post where he added a short video of his packed bags with the captions “London bound” and “#HammerTime.”

Lingard has made 133 appearances and scored 18 goals for United after he joined the club in 2011. This will be his 5th loan move while at the club.

West Ham have reportedly agreed over a loan fee of £1.5million with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. His contract at United ends in June 2022.
