Jets’ Garrett Wilson has an overwhelming response to being quizzed whether he had to change his style to play with Aaron Rodgers
Garrett Wilson disclosed that he is feeling confident after receiving from Aaron Rodgers in the practice and believes he can have a much better season compared to his first 2 years.

Last season ended in great disappointment for Garrett Wilson after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles in the opening game and missed the rest of the campaign. Zach Wilson took over, and the New York Jets eventually finished with 7-10.
WR Wilson saw a significant drop off from his debut season when he won the Best Offensive Rookie award. It was down to the fact that the 24-year-old had to improvise a lot to compensate for Z. Wilson’s choppy quarterback play.
In the new season, Wilson promised to show the Jets fans his true capability because he will receive from Super Bowl winner and first-ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. The veteran, whom many view as one of the most accurate quarterbacks ever to play in the NFL, brings a completely different skill set compared to the BYU graduate.
Despite a few heated moments during training, Wilson claimed he feels like a little kid because of how precisely Rodgers can find him with a pass.
I [definitely] had to change style-wise, but I would say in a way that's more natural to the way I play. Reacting; believe what you see. Aaron [Rodgers] can throw anything; he can throw it anywhere, so for me, it feels like pure football. I feel like I'm a kid again.Garrett Wilson said per the Jets’ official website
2024 should be the year Wilson establishes himself among the CeeDee Lambs and Justin Jeffersons of the NFL.

Garrett Wilson disclosed how he changed his play to adapt to Aaron Rodgers’ style
Wilson made his name at Ohio State with his exceptional knowledge of route plays and his ability to lose his markers by making swift decisions. He proved that he was a top-caliber wide receiver during his final year when he caught 77 passes for 12 touchdowns and crossed the 1000 receiving yards mark.
Wilson kept doing it in the NFL, but Zach Wilson’s woeful 57.0 passer rating did not help his cause of racking up elite numbers. Wilson is no longer with the Jets and with Rodgers throwing the ball, there should be improvement in his output.
It's always been a thinking game when you play receiver, [and] there are these adjustments within plays, within routes, [and] based on the QB you can either do them or you can't, but with Aaron [Rodgers], everything, you can do [everything]. That's how football should be played. There's stuff we can do with Aaron that we couldn't do last year or the year before.Garrett Wilson said

Now the only thing that Rodgers needs to do is stay healthy and take the Jets back to the playoffs for the first time since 2010. The Jets got off to a solid start in the preseason by beating the Washington Commanders. Up next, they will face the Carolina Panthers and finish up the string of friendlies against their New York counterparts, the Giants. However, Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to feature in either of them.
