Bray Wyatt might not be there in person, but his legacy will live on forever. At times, it seems as if his soul still exists. Raw Superstar Jey Uso did feel as if he were riding with The Eater of Worlds at WWE Backlash while making his entrance. The Yeet Master making a beeline to the ring in Lyon was one of the greatest walk-outs the fans have ever witnessed. While serenading his battle hymn, the boisterous crowd in France had its flashlights on in unison, which was reminiscent of how Wyatt used to make his way out.
Uso recently commented on how receiving a text message from the late Windham Rotunda‘s fiancé, JoJo, was when he felt the most validated. Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, the former Tag Team Champion revealed that Jojo told him how emotional she was while watching the worlds converge to pay homage to her demised partner.
Jey affirmed that he never asked the fans to create such an ambience but hopes it sticks around for a long time. Despite the grand reception, the former Bloodline member couldn’t make it count against Damian Priest on the show. The latter was able to remain unscathed, retaining his World Heavyweight title in the process.
The most I was validated (was when) JoJo, Bray Wyatt's wife, texted me and said how emotional she was watching. She saw clips of it on YouTube and that let me know right there, 'Alright, I'm going to keep it.' I hope it sticks with me.Jey Uso via Battleground podcast
Nonetheless, he still has a shot at glory. Having said that, Jey Uso will lock horns with Gunther in the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament this Monday. If the Samoan wrestler manages to pull off a gargantuan upset against The Ring General, he’ll head straight to Jeddah. At the premium live event in Saudi Arabia, Uso would fancy his chances to end up wearing the King of the Ring crown.
WWE creates stir with blatant teases to introduce a tributary act for Bray Wyatt
It does appear like a Bray Wyatt-inspired faction is set to debut on WWE television soon. The clues have been all over the place in the past few weeks.
QR codes are being randomly flashed on Raw and SmackDown, leading to cryptic vignettes that evince there’s something ominous beckoning. Yesterday, WWE went live on their Twitch account. The stream was apparently taken over by witchy figures, which, as the fans believe, would lead to Uncle Howdy in some capacity.
In the footage was the same psychiatric that once looked after Bray back in 2020. She was sitting in her chair until the woman turned restless and began wondering what was happening. At last, she disappeared, with more glitches promising to tell it all quite soon.
