Rikishi‘s one concerned father. He’s been keeping an eye on how WWE has treated his sons of late, especially Jey Uso. Arguably, the latter’s a red-hot fan favorite right now, and he’s been like that for quite some time now. A catchphrase, Yeet, which some believe comes across as corny when it’s overdone, has not fizzled out at all among the WWE Universe.

Despite topping merchandise sales, why’s there no title around Uso’s waist? asked Rikishi recently. His comments engendered various debates among the wrestling fraternity, claiming he’s just being biased as Jey is his son. But the Yeet Master has now responded to his pops. Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling podcast, the current Raw star asked The Samoan Stinker to just sit back and watch the show. Leave the rest to him, added Jey.

One of Rikishi’s major problems with Uso’s creative booking included WWE teasing a romantic angle between the former Right Hand Man and Rhea Ripley. The WWE HOF’er questioned the company about whether they’re trying to break up Jey’s marriage. It stemmed after Mami appeared to have confirmed on camera that Uso has her number.

I'm like, 'Dad. Just watch the show. Let me work. Let me go out and work, enjoy the show. Make your rap track.' That's pops, though.

The former Too Cool member has expressed disappointment at WWE failing to fetch Jey Uso some wins when it mattered the most. For instance, the 38-year-old was a massive odds-on favorite to win this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. However, Drew McIntyre shattered those dreams for the 10-time tag team champion.

At WrestleMania XL, Rikishi‘s sons, Jey and Jimmy, slugged it out in their biggest singles match. Ironically, they were hungry for each other’s blood. There’s no point in telling how horrendous that bout was in terms of work rate. Their dad later said that The Usos should’ve been given more time to work.

Is Jey Uso pegged for tag team glory with Sami Zayn?

In the past few weeks, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn have taken a stand for each other. The Intercontinental Champion saved his ex-Bloodline cohort from an ambush by The Judgment Day. This Monday, Uso returned the favor to Zayn. And it seems like they’re going back to square one.

If Sami does drop the IC title to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam, he could be in line for a tag team run with Jey Uso. There’s already speculation among fans that they’re going to reunite with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in their pursuit of combating the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline.

With this year’s Survivor Series: WarGames, official for Vancouver in Canada, things are falling into place quite perfectly. One could get the sniff of an all-out civil war between these exponents at the namesake PLE.
