Jey Uso stunned the world by winning this year’s Royal Rumble match in Indianapolis. His victory alone was a shock, but what made it even more surprising was that he eliminated the 16-time World Champion, John Cena, to secure his WrestleMania spot. Recently, Uso shared what Cena had to say following his monumental Rumble win.
Speaking on NightCap, ‘Main Event’ Jey revealed that Cena was incredibly supportive after his Royal Rumble win. He shared that Cena hugged him in the ring while he celebrated the monumental victory. The OG Bloodline member also recalled Cena encouraging him to embrace the moment, as the fans had fully accepted him as a main event star.
He said, ‘Hey, man,’ he hugged me, he goes, ‘Hey, Uce, I remember your first tour, I said, I always told you and your brother, you guys will be fine. Yeah, man, love, love for John Cena. He’s a GOAT.

Reflecting on the experience, the 39-year-old praised Cena as a true great in the industry. Jey also revealed that years ago, the 16-time World Champion predicted that he and Jimmy Uso would eventually make a significant impact in WWE. Now, with the entire WWE Universe rallying behind him, Jey feels like everything has come full circle.

This week on Raw, Jey Uso finally made his WrestleMania 41 decision. After enduring a brutal beatdown from Gunther, the 39-year-old chose to challenge The Ring General in the main event of The Show of Shows. While Gunther was visibly furious, Uso appeared confident in his choice.
Following Raw, Uso took to Instagram to share his reaction to his bold WrestleMania decision. He expressed his excitement, gearing up to face the seemingly unbeatable Gunther for the world title. While the OG Bloodline member has never defeated The Ring General, this time, he appears more confident than ever.

Interestingly, the Austrian powerhouse doesn’t see Uso as being on his level. Leading up to the decision, he subtly hinted that the 39-year-old should reconsider challenging him at WrestleMania. However, now that the former Intercontinental Champion has made his choice, Gunther has vowed to make his road to The Show of Shows a living hell.
