Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Uso addressed the criticism, stating that those hating on him have never been in his position. He emphasized that he has worked just as hard as any other superstar in WWE. Jey Uso is one of the most successful WWE superstars in recent times. In his singles run, he has become an Intercontinental Champion and is arguably WWE’s biggest babyface right now. Speaking on the DC Check-In podcast, Uso shared that his father understood the challenges of a WWE lifestyle. He revealed that from a young age, he witnessed his father making sacrifices and missing important moments. Because of this, Rikishi never wanted to push The Usos into WWE or professional wrestling.

My parents didn’t want none of us to wrestle. They know what that lifestyle is like. They know the time, sacrifice away, being on the road is one of the hardest things like in this business, especially like back in that time.
