“Stop embarrassing yourself,” Senior AEW figure goes off on trolls deeming Triple H unworthy of WWE HOF induction
The legendary Jim Ross isn't keen on buying any cynicism over Triple H's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Last week, it was announced that Paul “Triple H” Levesque will be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. While the overall perception of it among the wrestling fans was quite heartening, one just can’t escape the wrath of trolls. Addressing that aspect, current AEW figure Jim Ross lashed out at the naysayers.
On his ‘Grilling JR’ podcast, the 73-year-old legend asked those hating on Triple H for making his way into the HOF as a solitary inductee to stop embarrassing themselves. Ross took offense to a ridiculous online theory claiming that The Game is receiving the honor only because he’s married to Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
Backing his argument, Jim Ross affirmed that Hunter was one of WWE’s greatest heels during its hottest phase—the Attitude Era. And today, as JR said, Levesque is spearheading the company to unprecedented heights through years of acumen he gained as a performer.
Good-Ol’ JR also revealed that The Cerebral Assassin got back to him after the former sent him a congratulatory text for his induction. The erstwhile WWE commentator lauded the 14-time World Champion for his kind act of replying to someone who helped him along the way.
As to how the 55-year-old found out about his Hall of Fame induction, it wasn’t staged. WWE HOF’ers Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker surprised the WWE CCO with their executive decision during a Town Hall meet at the WWE HQs.
Paul was speechless and couldn’t be more thankful. After that, Stephanie McMahon also made her way out to share a warm embrace with her husband. The King of Kings will take his rightful place in the WWE HOF during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas.
Are the fans actually upset at Triple H over his Royal Rumble booking decisions?
This past Saturday, WWE presented the 37th annual Royal Rumble PLE. The event was flanked by its traditional Royal Rumble matches, the winners of which were Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair.
Based on the initial reactions, the WWE Universe, or more precisely the Internet Wrestling Community, blasted The Game’s booking of Uso and Flair. In hindsight, at least half of those reactions seem legit, which was evident from the crowd turning on The Queen this week.
On Raw, she got booed despite acting as a babyface. The attendees were clearly fed up with her Rumble exploits. On the other hand, Jey Uso, who was trashed online, was welcomed in the arena with a cascade of “You deserve it” chants.
He couldn’t utter a word for about 10 minutes or so just because the fans didn’t want to stop vibing with him at all. That said, Triple H‘s banking of The Yeet Master might finally pay off at WrestleMania 41.
