Jimmy Butler called a ‘crybaby’ by former Heat and Warriors Hall of Famer
Jimmy Butler was suspended multiple games as the Miami Heat wanted to keep his 'toxic' behavior out of the team's reach.

Tim Hardaway calls Jimmy Butler a 'crybaby'
Jimmy Butler wanted to play out his career in South Beach. However, the Miami Heat were not interested in handing a 35-year-old player struggling with injuries another max contract. That led him to hand in a trade request as he looked to move to another team.
The situation could have stopped at that, but then certain incidents did not work in his favor. For starters, he openly talked about not finding the joy while playing basketball. These comments forced the Heat to suspend him for seven games.
The idea was to keep his ‘toxic’ behavior away from the rest of the team. Then as his team were gearing up for another road trip, he missed their flight. That brought him his second suspension. By now, he was not talking much to the press, but his attitude was that of an unhappy player.
In total, those antics cost the superstar $3 million in missed game checks. However, his plight came to an end when the Heat sent him to the Golden State Warriors. Now he seems to have got back the joy of playing basketball. This caused Heat legend and Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway to say this.
I didn’t agree with what he was doing. You’re under contract. You know you’re a crybaby because they said no to you. You might not like the question, but you can’t deviate and mess up the team.
Tim Hardaway Sr. said
"[Jimmy Butler's] a baby. [He's] a crybaby"

The Hall of Famer added that other players also go through such situations. But that does not mean he could cry about it and mess with the team chemistry. Hardaway Sr. believes the team wanted to see if he could do more than just take them to play-in games, which he did not.
Jimmy Butler and his new team have easiest remaining schedule
Ironically, Jimmy Butler‘s new team, the Golden State Warriors are currently standing pat in a play-in spot. They traded for him so that he can help them climb the tough Western Conference ladder. To get to those higher spots, the Warriors will have to string out winning streaks by the dozen.
But to help their quest, they have an ace up their sleeves. The Warriors have one of the easiest remaining schedules among the Western playoff teams. In fact, their ease of schedule can help them in multiple ways.
On one hand, those easier games can help Butler build chemistry as the Warriors look to shake off some of their mid-season troubles. Then their conference rivals having tougher schedules could see major momentum shifts as the games play out.
The team has twenty-seven games to get back into a solid playoff spot. Steph Curry said Butler is his opposite in terms of basketball skills, but it is working for them so far. If that continues, the two mid 30’s superstars could have the last laugh.
