Jimmy Butler calls himself the ‘Robin’ to ‘Batman’ Steph Curry after epic play-in win over Grizzlies
Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry powered the Golden State Warriors to win their play-in game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a playoff spot
The Golden State Warriors welcomed the Memphis Grizzlies to Chase Center with one goal in mind. Win the play-in game to ensure their leading veteran stars, Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green get sufficient rest before the playoffs begin.
Those veterans seemed to have the wind knocked out of them towards the end of the loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. That loss led them to the play-in game, and they knew they had to win it at all costs. Being at home helped their situation as they jumped into a lead.
They extended that lead into the half, but then the Grizzlies came back strong to tie and even take the lead at one point. That set up a tense battle in the fourth quarter that saw both teams giving their all. Players hustled, fought for possession, and battled through all the hits and bumps.
Even though it was the referees that stole the spotlight, eventually, the Warriors came out on top. Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry carried the bulk of the scoring load and when reporters asked the former about his performance, he replied.
I think any team has a chance when I’m on the team. But I know every team has a chance with Steph’s on the team. I get to play Robin. That’s my Batman.

The superstar humbly made it clear that even though he is known for being a playoff demon, Steph Curry is on another level. The former league MVP can uplift any team, which is why he believes he is the Robin on this team to ‘Batman’ Curry. If they are in sync, the Golden State Warriors can beat anybody.
Draymond Green highlights Warriors chemistry
There was a time in this season when the Golden State Warriors were struggling to win games. Steph Curry was distraught, Draymond Green was angry, and the rest of the team looked clueless. After Jimmy Butler’s arrival, they started winning games. But Green believes the chemistry that has been building over the season has helped.
That’s why you win games. It’s chemistry. It’s selflessness. It’s togetherness. And I just thought that was a huge moment and nobody else saw it.

The former Defensive Player of the Year revealed a situation where Trayce Jackson-Davis gave up his bench seat for rookie Quinten Post. That does not normally happen as rookies usually sit on the floor if all seats are occupied.

Green believes Jackson-Davis giving his seat up knowing the rookie is playing in his place shows the team are together. Their common goal is driving them. Which means, they collectively want to win games and progress in the playoffs.
Draymond Green respectful of Jimmy Butler’s process
The team chemistry is at an all-time high, but Draymond Green knows today the two most important stars of his team stood up. Steph Curry dropped 37 points, and Jimmy Butler scored a game-high 38 points. When reporters asked Green if he was pushing Butler to score that many points, he replied.
I definitely have been wanted him to do it or was going to press for it. Because I’m in year 13 and Jimmy’s in year 14. He has a way about him. You learn not to mess with a guy’s process. He goes about his things a certain way. That’s the beauty of this place, nobody’s going to be like, ‘Yo, you gotta do this and this’.

Draymond Green wasn't going to press Jimmy Butler III to score more, but Buddy Hield did.

By this what the four-time champion meant was that event though him and his teammates wanted Jimmy Butler to increase his scoring, no one was pressing for it. When the time came, he automatically turned the knob. That is what he believes is a result of the Warriors’ environment. Players are allowed to be themselves.
