Jimmy Butler delivers hard hitting Stephen Curry quote after incredible HORSE shots vs Rockets
Warriors star Jimmy Butler could not contain his praise for his temmate Stephen Curry after his monstrous performance against the Rockets in Game 1.

Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry
When the Golden State Warriors met the Houston Rockets on Sunday at the Toyota Center, Stephen Curry‘s brilliance was on full display. Curry hit shots that NBA fans have all come to expect from the greatest shooter and tough shot maker of all time. Jimmy Butler, his teammate and star, also gave Curry a lot of praise during his team’s 85-95 victory over the Rockets in Game 1 of their NBA first-round Playoff matchup.
Butler has been a great addition to the Warriors’ side. Ever since his arrival, the Warriors’ attack has improved. Curry and Butler are complementing each other well on the court, causing havoc for rivals. However, against the Rockets, Curry took charge, with Butler in awe of his shooting performance. After the game, Butler praised Curry.
The only person who knows what’s coming out of the organized chaos is the one creating it.
Jimmy Butler told the reporters

Together, Curry and Butler scored 56 of Golden State’s 95 points, making them the only players to get the offense going. Brandin Podziemski was the only other individual to score ten or more points. Curry put in the majority of the work himself, shooting a game-high 31 points while others were having difficulty scoring.
The Houston Rockets were performing admirably throughout the season, but coming up against the likes of Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry in the playoffs proved a bit too much in Game 1. The Rockets defended well, keeping most of the Warriors’ players quiet. However, they could not contain Butler and Curry, finding themselves 0-1 in the series.
All said and done, the Warriors got off to a quick start against the Rockets after fighting their way into the 2025 NBA Playoffs through the NBA’s play-in tournament, and now they have a chance to put their opponent in a chokehold with a victory in Game 2.
Jimmy Butler termed Stephen Curry as ‘Batman’ after an insane performance in Game 1
Looks like Stephen Curry realized it was the NBA Playoffs and locked in immediately. The star dropped a game-high 31 points on the Rockets, snatching the win in Game 1. Curry was supported by Butler’s 25 points on offense, but the latter was left stunned by his teammate’s performance. After the game, Butler termed Curry as ‘Batman.’
He does [continue to amaze]. Like I always say, Batman comes out of nowhere. You never see him coming.
Jimmy Butler said
"Batman comes out of nowhere."

Curry’s 31-point outburst followed a difficult game against the Rockets earlier in the month, in which he only managed three points on 1-10 shooting. Butler praised Curry’s leadership qualities, which are even more crucial in postseason action, in addition to his scoring prowess. All attention will drift onto the upcoming games of this series going forward.
TNT commentator Kevin Harlan was left gobsmacked by Stephen Curry’s insane shot against the Rockets
Another day, another NBA Playoffs masterpiece from Stephen Curry for the Warriors. Notably, Curry faced Rockets player Jalen Green when he made a spectacular, “geometrically impossible” three-pointer. In the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, the Warriors led the Rockets by 20 points when this occurred while the shot clock was running out.
The shot gave them a 23-point lead. Not only that, the shot was so good it made TNT-play-by-play commentator Kevin Harlan jump out of his seat, praising the Warriors’ great live.
Geometrically that should NOT have happened

The Warriors star averaged 24.5 points, dished out six assists, and shot 44.8% from the field at the end of the regular season. However, when the NBA Playoffs start, Curry usually steps up his game. That’s what he did on Sunday. The Rockets will need to be alert to contain Curry during this ongoing series after a performance like this.
