Jimmy Butler makes SAVAGE joke as Miami Heat empty Boston Celtics arena with impressive win

Jimmy Butler trolled Jaylen Brown after the Heat won game 2.

The Miami Heat have fought back into the competition as they won game 2 against the Boston Celtics. Certainly, their star player Jimmy Butler was hyped after the win as he cheered them from the bench. Being out from the roster did not stop Butler from flaunting his playoff mode as he trolled the Heat’s on-court rivalry.

Last year the teams met in the Eastern Conference Finals where after losing the first three games the Boston CelticsJaylen Brown made a bold statement, “Don’t let us get one.” Unlike the Celtics, the Miami Heat did not take 3 games to respond in the series this year. Jimmy Butler mocked Brown’s statement as he photoshopped his face on Brown’s and warned Boston.

Brown’s statement did not age well as the Heat won the series 4-3 to advance to the NBA finals. Now the team is looking to repeat last year’s result but they have to do it without Butler’s help. Just before the playoffs started Butler got an MCL injury which ruled him out of the series.

Butler’s absence made the Celtics the favorites to win the first round. Boston had the best winning percentage in the entire NBA during the regular season, however now it seems like the Heat is certainly going to make the team work hard to win this series with their incredible road win.

The Miami Heat set a franchise record to tie the series

The Miami Heat had an incredible shooting night to tie the series against the Celtics. Heat’s Tyler Herro led the team to defeat the Celtics who are famously known to have multiple scorers on their roster. Boston however was 37.5% from the three-point line whereas the Heat were 53.5%.

Herro scored a double-double as he shot six three-pointers which contributed to the team breaking the franchise record. The Heat players hit a total of 23 shots from beyond the arc which is the new playoff record in Heat’s history.

According to Heat’s head coach Erik Spoelstra, the team’s shooting played an important role in winning the game. Spoelstra’s coaching of the game was also incredible and the HC received high praise from NBA fans. Now the team needs to have consistent performance and get consecutive wins to take down the series.
