The highly anticipated match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson took its course on Friday, 15th of November. The notable event caught many eyes, including talk show host Jimmy Fallon‘s. The ‘Late Night Show’ host posted a Sunday special edition where Fallon had quite some things to say about the iconic fight.

While Jimmy Fallon introduced the special edition as a dedication to the NFL match between Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers, it did not take the host much time before jumping to ‘Paul-Tyson’. The ‘intense’ game was compared to that of the fight between Paul and Tyson, except the former ‘actually hit each other’. Fallon broke down the whole match, piece by piece, calling out the ‘underwhelming’ and ‘sad’ match.

At one point the Netflix’s notification popped up ‘WHY are you still watching?’ Not only was the fight uneventful, but the Netflix live kept buffering and glitching.

Jimmy Fallon later satirized the fight, even referencing a statement from a Netflix spokesperson. The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson match was far from flawless, ending with a one-sided victory for the YouTuber against the legendary boxer. The bout, held in front of a sold-out crowd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, lasted eight rounds—though many fans believed it could have ended much sooner.

Fans also criticized the significant age gap, which they felt put the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion at a disadvantage. They noted that Tyson struggled to match Jake Paul’s superior speed. Final statistics revealed Tyson landed just 18 of 97 punches, compared to Paul’s 78 out of 278 punches thrown.

Logan Paul boasting brother Jake Paul’s accomplishment

After the Paul-Tyson’s iconic fight, Logan Paul took to social media platform X to brag about his brother’s achievement. The 29-year-old simultaneously posted two pictures of the matches. While one showcased Jake Paul, the other was a snap from Logan Paul’s iconic fight with legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The fight took place in 2021 where the match had no judges, and the unofficial result had the stats declare Mayweather as the winner. The comment section of the post saw fans appreciating the Paul brothers. Seeing through the matches with two of the most legendary boxers of all times was much commended by the audiences.
