Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been a side that have perennially underachieved despite boasting of some of the best talents in the world. The Virat Kohli-led side has reached the final as many as three times in the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) history but has not been able to get its hands on the trophy. Last time around, RCB ended up finishing fourth after a late slump in form.

This time around, they have come up with a plethora of good signings like Kyle Jamieson, Glenn Maxwell, Dan Christian and Mohammed Azharuddeen. With such buys and a rejuvenated squad, the side would fancy their chances of making it to the playoffs this season and hopefully, end their long-awaited duck for the IPL title.

New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is one of the most active cricketers on social media. The 30-year-old is often seen responding to fans and coming up with hilarious tweets that go viral time and again. The southpaw will represent the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) this season after being acquired by the franchise following his release from Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) whom he played for last season.

A fan took to Twitter today to ask Neesham a question He wrote, “What do you think about how many chances for RCB this year??? (sic)” The fan meant to ask for the chances of RCB clinching the title but the tweet was worded in such a way that it could be interpreted in a different way. That was exactly how Neesham interpreted it (probably on purpose) as he hilariously replied, “I would say I’ll probably get zero chances for RCB this year.

Neesham’s MI and RCB will go head-to-head on the 9th of April in the opening match of IPL 2021.
