Jinder Mahal has experienced many highs and lows throughout his career. From beating Randy Orton and becoming the WWE Champion to confronting The Rock, his wrestling journey has been a roller coaster ride. After spending eight years in his second WWE run, he made his first pro wrestling appearance after leaving the company.

Raj Dhesi appeared on Friday night at Game Changer Wrestling‘s So High event in Illinois. He attacked GCW fan favorite Effy and shocked the wrestling world. In June, The Modern Day Maharaja shared his first few post-WWE appearances on social media. However, GCW was not on the list, making the appearance even more surprising.

Speaking about his arrival in GCW, chaos ensued after the tag team match between EffyCole Radrick and John Wayne MurdochReed Bentley was over. After Effy pinned Murdoch, two masked men appeared and tried to attack him, but he fended them off with a crowbar. Unfortunately for him, another huge masked individual came and executed the finishing move, the Khallas. It was revealed that Mahal himself was under the mask.

As of now, it is still unknown whether the former WWE Champion was working with the two masked men. Nonetheless, his first program with GCW is set, with Effy as his first target. The wrestling world is excited for him and eager to see how he performs on the independent scene following his WWE release.

Jinder Mahal stated he would be open to returning to the WWE

Even though the 38-year-old star, along with Veer Mahan and Sanga, was released from WWE in April, he revealed that there were no hard feelings. Mahal has only had positive things to say about his time at the Stamford-based company. He expressed his desire to work with WWE again, but only under one condition.

While talking on the Busted Open Radio, the former WWE Champion stated that he was ready to work for the company again. However, he would only return if WWE had something for him. Mahal described the worst feeling when the phone call came to inform him that he was not needed.

On my end, yeah. Again, creative, if they got something, great, but I don't wanna go just to sit at home and get a text every week saying, ‘Hey, you're not needed for TV. Don't bother flying out' because that's the worst feeling.

The last match he ever wrestled in WWE was the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WrestleMania XL. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, he left the company, and his 90-day non-compete clause kicked in. Now that it is over, fans might see him in many different promotions.
