Jiri Prochazka has bounced back from his last loss by getting a dominant victory at UFC 300 against Aleksandar Rakić. With the win, the former lightweight heavyweight champion issued a warning for the top fighters in the division. Prochazka Showed immense discipline and determination during the fight and defeated Rakić via TKO. 

The night before the much-anticipated fight, Jiri Prochazka went viral on the internet with a weird video. The fighter was caught on camera by some fight fans when he was in front of the T-Mobile arena in the middle of the night. While addressing the video, the fighter said:

That's my ritual which I'm doing before every fight…I'm not a psycho…there is a time when everybody wants to be alone with our things. That's my kind of meditation.

Prochazka revealed that he always liked to visualize his fights before they took place. According to the fighter, this has helped him throughout his career. ‘BJP’ gave an amazing performance at UFC 300 against Rakić. In the first round, Rakić took charge and was able to surprise the former lightweight heavyweight champion.

However, things took a sharp turn in the second round when Czech dropped Rakić on the canvas. It was followed up by a series of strikes which forced referee Herb Dean to stop the fight. ‘The Samurai’ also won the ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus award of $300k.

Jiri Prochazka warns Alex Pereira about their potential title rematch 

The last time Jiri Prochazka faced Alex Pereira, it was for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 295. In the fight, the Brazilian demolished Prochazka in the second round. However, with the recent win at UFC 300, Prochazka has gained his confidence back to challenge ‘Poatan’ again.

After the event, during one interview with ‘The Schmo’, Prochazka revealed that he saw the whole main event. According to the fighter, he’s ready and will take his revenge soon against the reigning champion.

I saw him [Pereira] and I saw his performance, amazing and I have to say that now I’m starting to take it seriously. Because this is for me, something that I want to do, I want to achieve this victory and when I want something, I will achieve that.

While Prochazka is expecting his rematch, Pereira has already shared his plans to move up to the heavyweight division after his latest win. Dana White has suggested the Brazilian against the move to the heavyweight division and there is no confirmation about it. Nevertheless, it is going to be interesting to see the UFC sorting things out in the future.
