The former Rizin Light Heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka made a name for himself in UFC by ruthlessly finishing two former title contenders in his first two fights inside the Octagon.

With his latest win against Dominick Reyes, he displayed absolute toughness and in the end knocked Reyes out by a spinning elbow. He took some very heavy shots from Reyes and later even admitted that he was knocked out for some seconds by an up kick from Reyes but he still stayed in the fight.

He is now at number 2 ranking in the Light Heavyweight division and in his latest interview with RT Sports, Prochazka disclosed that according to him the former Lightweight champion Jon Jones would be the biggest challenge for him.

Jiri Prochazka says, “He is the king of the Light Heavyweight division, and I think he’ll be the greatest opponent of the Light Heavyweight division for me. But he’s Heavyweight now, so what?”

“I think I am not sorry for that but I think when he’ll be in the Light Heavyweight division he is going to be a problem for everyone”.

The UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz is booked to face Glover Teixeira for his next title defense and if Blachowicz wins this one Jiri Prochazka wants to face him next.

Prochazka added, “I’m looking for the toughest fighters. And the toughest fighter, the first one was Volkan Oezdemir. He was great but I think there is a better opponent before him. Dominick was one for the greatest in the light heavyweight division.”

“His style is very unique and very dangerous. And the next one I think, now, in our light heavyweight division, is Blachowicz.”

Jan Blachowicz vs Glover Teixeira fight is booked for September. That means Prochazka has to wait until 2022 to fight the winner of that fight. The number 3rd ranked UFC Light Heavyweight contender Aleksandar Rakic has also called him out. It will be interesting to see him fighting Rakic as well.
