“Looks like a guy who moves my couch…” JJ Reddick bizarrely criticized for wearing hat backwards in LeBron James conversation

LeBron James and JJ Reddick

Colin Cowherd recently claimed JJ Redick was unfit to be an NBA head coach. Cowherd took an instance of Redick from his podcast with LeBron James as an argument. Footage of Redick and James appearing on the Mind the Game podcast was the subject of Cowherd’s reaction on the latest episode of The Herd on Fox Sports Radio.

Cowherd made his views regarding JJ Redick’s backward hat known on-air. One could say it was a clear swipe by Cowherd towards Redick. Recently, Redick has remained in various coaching rumors. As such, Cowherd made a bizarre point by suggesting that Redick did not look like a coach.

Notably, Colin Cowherd has criticized athletes in the past, but this one was the most absurd critique anyone has ever made. However, Cowherd did express his deep regard for Redick, which he used as justification for urging him to turn his hat around.

On the contrary, JJ Redick is the leading candidate to replace the fired Darvin Ham, as per various reports. There are mixed emotions around the air over LeBron James having a close friend as the head coach. Former NBA players have spoken about it. As such, only time will tell if Redick lands the head coaching job.

LeBron James and JJ Redick react to weird criticism

After Colin Cowherd criticized JJ Redick regarding the hat’s backward position, he responded to his criticism on social media. Redick replied, “LOL” to a post making rounds on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) regarding Cowherd’s criticism of Reddick.

Not only that, LeBron James added his support for Redick by posting images of Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd and Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith wearing backward caps. James also replied to Cowherd’s criticism.

He really doesn’t like your (cap emoji) JJ!! I wonder if these two (NBA coaches) are okay. They have damn good jobs I believe.
