For many years now NBA fans have speculated that Lebron James manipulates behind the scenes for the teams he is playing. JJ Redick is here to put an end to all the rumors and Rob Pelinka also disclosed a significant contribution of James in the hiring of Redick.

The Los Angeles Lakers recently hired JJ Redick as the Head Coach of the Lakers. After this was announced, rumors started all over the internet that Redick got hired simply cause he is co-hosting a podcast with LeBron James. However, Redick has denied all the rumors.

During the interview, Redick denied the involvement of James in his hiring process. With the close bond that formed between James and Redick, it is quite easy for the fans to speculate rumors.

JJ Redick gives update on podcast with LeBron James

As JJ Redick takes on the role of the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, he has bid goodbye to the world of podcasting leaving behind his podcast with Lebron James.

During the introductory press conference, Redick announced he is stepping away from the content space and there will be no podcast in the future. The show with James was pretty short-lived, as it lasted just nine episodes.

While putting his podcasts on hold, Redick reassured his fans that this isn’t a permanent goodbye and he will be back soon, once the coaching responsibilities settle in.
