Rumored Lakers coach JJ Redick got BULLIED by Kobe Bryant in Team USA practice session, reveals Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and JJ Redick

The legendary late Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest and most competitive players to ever grace the NBA. Bryant did not leave anyone when it came to being competitive, from a rookie to a veteran in the sport. Recently, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony shared an interesting story regarding former NBA players JJ Redick and Kobe Bryant in a Team USA practice session on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast.

Anthony claimed on the podcast that Bryant was tired of the then-USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski boasting about Redick all the time to the senior players. According to Anthony, Bryant asserted his dominance over Redick by preventing him from scoring a single basket and even fouling him during practice sessions.

JJ Redick and Kobe and Team USA. And i remember Kobe couldn't stand JJ Redick. So, he come into practice...Kobe took it personally on JJ Redick in practice because he got tired of coach K (Mike Krzyzewski) kept talking about JJ Redick alright? Kob took it very very personal...he was denying JJ the ball, he was fouling the sh** out of JJ.

JJ Redick poised to be Lakers’ new head coach

Former NBA player JJ Redick has been making the headlines recently after his rumored head coach role at the Los Angeles Lakers seems to be edging closer. While no official deal has been struck between the two parties yet, it appears that Redick and the Lakers are moving towards finalizing terms for the head coach position sooner rather than later.

On the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic broke the story and said that Redick was “very impressive” in his discussions with team management. Charania also asserted that no paperwork has been finalized yet.

There isn't an agreement as far as I know between the Lakers and JJ Redick right now.
