JJ Redick praised for ‘amazing vibes’ as Lakers coach by rookie Bronny James

The Los Angeles Lakers, coming off a few poor seasons, are gearing up for a crucial 2024-25 campaign. The team has replaced former head coach Darvin Ham with newly appointed JJ Redick to lead them into the upcoming season.
Additionally, the Lakers also signed a few players during the off-season. The most notable addition was of the NBA legend LeBron James‘ son, Bronny James, during the 2024 NBA Draft.
Entering his debut season with the Los Angeles Lakers, rookie James Jr. has expressed his admiration for the atmosphere head coach JJ Redick has established in training camp.
On June 20, Redick had been signed on by the Lakers. Exactly one week later, the front staff chose Bronny with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
Even experienced stars like D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura have praised the new head coach for his practice style.
Redick will try to assist the Lakers in overcoming their devastating loss to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs last season. He is receiving great praise already, with the Los Angeles regular season beginning on October 22.

Bronny James’ wish came true when the Los Angeles Lakers selected him in the NBA draft. Bronny was praised for his hard work and character by Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka and Coach JJ Redick in a heartfelt chat that took place before the pick’s public announcement. James’ integrity and work ethic, which the Lakers greatly respect, were highlighted by Pelinka and Redick.

Bronny is touted to create history when he joins his father, LeBron James, on the Lakers roster. He will be part of the first father-son pairing to play together in an NBA game.
Dalton Knecht was also taken by the Lakers with the 17th pick in the 2024 draft class. It will be intriguing to watch how the Lakers inculcate these new signees.
