JJ Redick’s furious NSFW rant to Lakers players during playoff game against Wolves goes viral
Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick is a perfectionist and always asks his players to follow the gameplan to the T.

Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick was furious with his players
The Los Angeles Lakers had one task in mind when they faced the Minnesota Timberwolves. They had to win at all costs to ensure they did not go on the road with a series deficit. That meant head coach JJ Redick had to rile his players up to ensure they level the series.
The first-year head coach knew a lack of effort cost them Game 1. He was not going to allow his players to slack off this time. He acknowledged that missed practices contributed to that lack of energy, which he was going to change ahead of game 2.
The men in purple dedicated a lot of time these past few days figuring out how to stop their bigger and faster opponents. They also spent time understanding where they had to improve in their positioning and schemes. In game 2, there was a moment when JJ Redick felt the team was slacking and called a timeout. TNT cameras then caught him yelling this as he walked onto the court.
What the f**k is going on. Jesus f**king Christ, what the f**k are you guys doing. Come on!
JJ Redick yelled
"Time out. What the f*ck is going on. Jesus f*cking Christ, what the f*ck are you guys doing. Come on!"

Another clip revealed what he was referring to. He felt some players were casually strolling around on the court. This casual approach was similar to how they played in Game 1, and he called that timeout to remind them that that approach was not acceptable.
JJ Redick believes his outburst was coaching
That incident happened midway through the third quarter. JJ Redick might have felt that his players took a casual approach after leading by nearly 22 points at one point. Reporters took note of this incident and asked the first-year head coach about any frustrations he had.
Not frustration, just coaching.
JJ Redick said
The Tennessee native added that he was happy how the team executed their schemes better than they did in Game 1. However, in some instances, he felt that the team was not on the same page. That is what led him to call that timeout and remind his players what they needed to do.
This basketball sicko has not cracked a smile once during this press conference.

That yelling session had its desired effect as the Los Angeles Lakers regained their twenty-point lead. The Minnesota Timberwolves tried to come back with a late-game push, but fell short as the home team played excellent defense down the stretch to win 94-85.
LeBron James believes his head coach ‘spazzed out’
Leading superstar LeBron James is as old as head coach JJ Redick. Therefore, it could be weird for him to listen to a former peer go after the team the way he did in that third quarter. But the 40-year-old believes the team had to focus on what his head coach said.
We know JJ is gonna spazz out from time to time. That’s JJ. We need to listen to the message and not how he is delivering it.
LeBron James said
The all-time leading scorer in NBA history understands that Redick ‘spazzes out’ from time to time. But as long as the players get the message across, they should be fine. James scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while dishing out 7 assists in this game.
"We know JJ is gonna spazz out from time to time" 🤣

But to win the series, all the players have to play their part. Otherwise, starting from game 3, it will be difficult to hold on to the pace of aggression of the Timberwolves. Games 3 and 4 will be at Target Center and all the men in purple and gold will have to step up their game.
