JJ Watt TEARS into analysts and fans for ‘hypocritical’ take on Tua Tagovailoa’s latest concussion
Many analysts and fans questioning Miami Dolphins star Tua Tagovailoa's decision to not slide does not sit well with former star JJ Watt.

Tua Tagovailoa suffering three concussions in two years has the NFL world debating whether or not he should continue playing football. His history with concussions is helping the debate grow stronger than he should think about his future.
Now former NFL superstar JJ Watt has stepped into the conversation by bringing a different angle to the debate about the Miami Dolphins star’s future. The former defensive player of the year took to his official X account to talk about the situation.
I've seen a lot of conversations last night and this morning about 'Tua needs to slide. I feel like a lot of those same people are the ones who would be crushing him if he slides and comes up short on fourth down in the red zone. It's a bit of a double standard in my opinion. Everybody wants to see modern-day gladiators, but they don't want the guilt that comes along with it.JJ Watt said in a video posted on X
Watt suggested a player does not have the yellow line that shows up on TV screens to judge where the 1st down is. So, he did what was needed for his team to get ahead. JJ Watt feels had the 5th year starter stopped a smidge short of the 1st down marker, the same analysts and fans would have torn into him.
To make matters worse, he was in the middle of the field where he cannot see the sideline first down markers.
Therefore, Watt feels the analogy ‘armchair quarterbacks’ have come forward with that he should slide to save himself from those concussions are not logical. He feels they should appreciate his intentions to put his team on his back in the best way he could.
Bills Mafia chime in for Tua Tagovailoa’s foundation
In the aftermath of the concussion, Tua Tagovailoa is working his way back to full health. On the other hand, Good Morning Football host Jamie Erdahl revealed something spectacular;
The Bills Mafia stepping up big time. The Tua Foundation telling us they've raised more than $16,000 since last night.Jamie Erdahl reported
The Buffalo Bills fans are often associated with hostility and a general angst towards opposition players. Sending donations to the Dolphins star’s foundation is the best response they could give.
They know what it is like when one of their own went down, which almost cost his life. This gesture shows that they also have a softer side when they are not shouting curses to opposition players. They did the same when Nick Chubb went down with a season ending injury last season.
It goes to show that in certain situations, rivalries can be set aside. In less than two months, Tua Tagovailoa and his Miami Dolphins will take a trip to Buffalo. It will be worthwhile to see how the two greet each other in that game.
