UFC Vegas 37: Joaquin Buckley endured the storm and knocked out Antonio Arroyo to get the victory

The main card of UFC Vega 37 was kicked off by the middleweight contest between Antonio Arroyo (9-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC) and Joaquin Buckley (12-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC). Buckley made it into the limelight with a beautiful head kick knockout, and he was looking to come back in the win column following a loss in his previous fight.
Round 1- Buckely and Antonio acquired the centre of the octagon as soon as the fight started, Buckey attempted a couple of leg kicks but he missed, Antonio, kept his distance and blasted Buckley with a barrage of Kicks. He landed a beautiful switch kick to the head and it was followed up by another beautiful head kick. Buckley stayed composed and stayed in the fight, he attempted a takedown just as the round was ending but he couldn’t secure it.
Round 2 – Buckley walked Antonio down in round number 2. Antonio was looking for a highlight-reel knockout so he was loading on his kicks, Buckley moved forward with combinations and Antonio was just looking to counter. Buckley attempted a takedown but couldn’t get it, he got caught with a massive flying knee but he immediately secured the clinch and hanged in there as the round ended.

Round 3 – Buckley stuck to his gameplan, and kept on moving forward. He got busy with his hands and Antonio was still looking for that big shot, he denied a takedown attempt from Buckley but couldn’t capitalize on it. Buckley kept the pressure high and knocked Antonio out with a beautiful combination to get the victory.
