Cincinnati Bengals and NFL MVP finalist Joe Burrow remains hopeful about the Bengals front row. In a recent media interaction, the quarterback admitted that he doesn’t see it not working out.

Tee Higgins is set to become a free agent in a month. Ja’Marr Chase has just one more season in his contract while Trey Hendrickson is entering his last year. Despite missing out on the playoffs, the Bengals kept their hopes intact until the very end thanks to the wonderful form maintained by the offensive core. The 28-year-old maintained hopefulness on Saturday during an interview with Sirius XM.

Yeah, we can make it happen. We can make it happen. It just has to be right for everybody involved. I know the players wanna make it work, we all wanna be together. I don’t see it not working out, but we’ll see.

Joe Burrow said

Joe Burrow has repeatedly expressed his desire to keep Ja’Marr Chase, Trey Hendrickson, and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati for the long term. He reiterated this sentiment on Thursday night when discussing Chase’s contract situation.

I don’t know what more he could show and do to prove himself. We have several guys like that, who have stepped up for us, and deserve to be paid … and deserve to be paid what they’re worth.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow played the season with a wrist injury and couldn’t throw properly

The Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow did all he could in the final games to help the Bengals reach the playoffs. In Week 18, the Bengals needed a win and the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins to lose. The Bengals did win against the Steelers and the Dolphins lost to New York Jets. However, the Broncos shut out the Kansas City Chiefs to advance to their first playoffs since 2015.

A recent admission has added more glam to his form this season. According to ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, Joe Burrow’s performance in 2024 was even more remarkable—or concerning—given a recent revelation the Bengals star shared with him and his colleague Ryan Clark in Orlando.

Back in September, Burrow insisted that the wrist injury he sustained in Week 11 of 2023 felt great and was “absolutely not” impacting his ability to throw. Naturally, this revelation sparked a strong reaction from fans. The reactions could vary between the ones who are cheering him on further and praising the QB.

The admission could also be seen as an excuse, as highlighted by some reactions online. The bigger picture is, however, will Joe Burrow be able to return to his prime.
