A couple of days ago, the internet was up in flames when news broke that Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders earned his first Pro Bowl call. Many argued that his statistics over the seven games he played were nowhere near what other AFC signal callers ranking above him had managed to garner.
Their biggest argument was that his touchdown-to-interception ratio alone was enough to dismiss his credentials as a Pro Bowler in his first year in the league.
Football fans have already had enough surprises this year, from knowing that this postseason will be without the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow.
Then, to hear about Bill Belichick not being a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and Sanders’ Pro Bowl news prior to that. But the league had one more in store.
QB Joe Flacco has been added to the Pro Bowl roster, the first of his career. That also means the Browns had two Pro Bowl QBs this year, with Flacco and Shedeur Sanders.

Even though Joe Flacco was with the Cincinnati Bengals for more than half of the season, his Pro Bowl nod will have his Cleveland Browns statistics alongside them.
Fans lose their minds after Joe Flacco joins Shedeur Sanders as Pro Bowler
Football fans have been sweating on hearing about some breaking news or the other that would send them reeling. After the Shedeur Sanders’ shocker, they were not prepared for one more Cleveland Browns’ news.
Todd Monken’s hiring as their next head coach caused some surreal reactions among members of the media, but for fans, the news of Joe Flacco was too much to digest. They took to social media to react to this news, examples of which are below.

The NFL pro bowl committee must be related to the HOF committee that ignored Bill Belichick.🤔

In Joe Flacco’s defense, he did have some incredible games for the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the joke is on the Browns, as former head coach Kevin Stefanksi had two at his disposal, but still couldn’t make anything out of them.
Skip Bayless hopes Todd Monken is ‘authentic’ with Shedeur Sanders
Since Kevin Stefanski continues to take the blame for not allowing his quarterbacks to thrive, the onus shifts to Todd Monken and whether he believes in Shedeur Sanders.

I don’t hate it. I love a lot of things about it… Is Todd Monken what they’ve been looking for?! I don’t know… I’m hopeful that he’s being authentic with Shedeur.
Skip Bayless said on The Arena
The longtime analyst referred to when the new Browns head coach mentioned in his first meeting with the 23-year-old QB that he and the Ravens wanted to draft him.
“Is Todd Monken what the Browns have been looking for?! I don’t know. I’m hopeful that he’s being authentic with Shedeur.”@RealSkipBayless & @CodyKessler6 grade the Monken hiring for the Browns as a B, in hopes he can mesh with Sanders. pic.twitter.com/wTg6BfWkTI

That speaks of the confidence they had in him. Skip Bayless hopes Monken continues with that belief, as without it, Sanders cannot reach his potential.
