(Video) Uninterested Joe Flacco Turned Down Shedeur Sanders’ Request for a Friendly Dance-Off
Joe Flacco won't be performing a dance move on the gridiron anytime soon.

Does 40-year-old Joe Flacco have any interest in dancing? Shedeur Sanders, Flacco’s young subordinate on the Cleveland Browns, bluntly posed this question during OTAs recently.
Cameras caught Flacco and Sanders conversing between drills at the Browns’ training facility. Sanders showed his dance moves and asked, “[Did] you ever hit that dance?”
Flacco quickly replied,
Definitely not… I don’t know if I ever hit a public dance move in my life.
Flacco left the scene and engrossed himself in polishing his quarterback skills.
This is great: #Browns rookie QB Shedeur Sanders (age 23) asked Joe Flacco (age 40) if he likes to dance.

Sanders, on the other hand, loves to show off his dance moves after a highlight-worthy play. His dad, the great Deion Sanders, popularized the ‘Deion Shuffle’ during his Hall of Fame playing career. Many followed Prime Time’s lead and developed their own signature dance celebration moves.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson’s ‘griddy’ celebration became the hot favorite for most. Unfortunately, other athletes cannot use it because Jefferson reportedly trademarked it as his own. He made an exception during the Miami Grand Prix.
Shedeur Sanders’ locker room gesture for Joe Flacco will make the Browns happy
Sanders isn’t afraid to go the distance to show his respect to the veterans in the locker room. He received ample criticism for ‘entitled’ behavior during and before the draft process, but he’s focused on learning the ropes from the experienced heads in the locker room.

There’s hardly anyone more senior than Flacco on the Browns roster. During a recent livestream, Sanders provided a sneak peek into the NFL hierarchy.
I know that when I’m a vet, I’m going to have a rookie organize my locker every day, before he leaves. Here’s the thing, if Flacco told me to do this every day, I would do it. Real talk, I go to him every day and say, ‘Bruh, you good? Do you need anything?’ It’s respect, you feel me? Ask him.

Sanders wouldn’t be in the Browns locker room if he hadn’t slid down to the fifth round. Once touted to be a top 5 pick, the University of Colorado graduate was set on earning millions through his rookie deal. He will still earn millions, but not in the same ballpark as previously televised.
Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry confused everyone by taking Sanders 144th overall. They had already selected Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel in the fourth round, increasing their quarterback count to four.
However, the news from the training camp hints that Stefanski and Berry’s decision was correct. After observing Gabriel for a few training sessions, The Athletic’s Zac Jackson concluded that Gabriel’s performance was far below his expectations.
Dillon Gabriel does not look like an NFL quarterback to me. Like zero percent… I just don’t think any other team was taking him in the top 100 or even the top 150.

It’s too early to jump to conclusions. Anything can happen between now and the first week of the new season. However, the early consensus has favored Sanders over Gabriel for a roster spot.
After spending three seasons at UCF and two at Oklahoma, Gabriel played his final year of college eligibility at Oregon. He completed 326 passes (72.9%) for 3857 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Sanders played two years at Jackson State before following his father to Colorado. In his senior year with the Buffaloes, Sanders threw 353 completions (74.0%) for 4134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
