TNA is set to host its annual ‘Bound For Glory’ Pay-Per-View on October 26th in Detroit, Michigan. This PPV is TNA’s flagship show of the year, akin to WWE’s WrestleMania. Given the show’s huge nature, fans generally expect some surprises or huge names appearing at the event. However, Joe Hendry has taken things one step further by trying to get Eminem on the show.
The Scottish wrestler tweeted at Slim Shady, asking him to be in his corner at Bound for Glory. He followed it up with a parody of the lyrics of one of Eminem’s greatest songs, ‘My Name is’. Eminem is originally from Detroit himself, and it would be a huge feat if TNA could get the Rap God to make an appearance in front of his home crowd at their show.
Joe Hendry is set to challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory. The Prestigious One shot up in popularity after he released his current theme song. For the past few months, he has been the most over superstar amongst fans in TNA.
Hendry has also made his way to WWE after the recent partnership between them and TNA. His appearances at NXT have been a treat for fans to witness, and he has left a remarkable impression every time that he has been there. Furthermore, WWE even put him on their list of the best entrances ever.
Reports suggest that there is a push within TNA for Joe Hendry to become TNA World Champion at Bound For Glory
TNA Fans have been clamoring for Joe Hendry to win the promotion’s World Championship for a while now. With the 36-year-old being the most over superstar in the promotion, it is no secret that they would like to crown him as the face of their company. Many expected him to pick up the company’s biggest prize at TNA Slammiversary until Nic Nemeth was declared the new champion. However, recent reports suggest that all this while, the company may have just been waiting for a bigger stage to crown him champion.

According to Fightful Select, many people in the company have pushed for Hendry to become the TNA World Champion at Bound For Glory. The company sees the 36-year-old as a focal point of its promotion heading into 2025.
Allegedly, his contract with TNA also lasts till late 2025. Perhaps the company is looking to crown him the world champion to entice him into re-signing with the promotion. Furthermore, Hendry is also rumored to make an appearance at the 2025 Royal Rumble. His entering the match as TNA World Champion would surely give the company a lot of publicity.
