Houston Texans bamboozled Justin Herbert to four interceptions, one more than his entire regular season record to advance to the Divisional round of NFL playoffs. Joe Mixon was crucial in Texans’ success, carrying the 25 times for 106 yards in the Houston Texans’ 32-12 victory against Los Angeles Chargers. Additionally, he recovered two early fumbles and scored a game-tying 17-yard touchdown run.
Joe Mixon was deservingly awarded the Nickelodeon Valuable Player for his antics against the Chargers. Mixon seemed to know that he has the prestigious NVP in the bag as he did a slime helmet celebration in the sidelines. And then he swore, not once? Twice? – Should he have been given the Most Valuable Potty Mouth designation instead?
After receiving the NVP award from the young Nickelodeon sideline reporter Dylan Schefter, Mixon shared his thoughts on the memorable moment, incorporating some light-hearted PG language.

The Texans-Chargers match kicked off what could turn out to be an impressive postseason. The highlight of the game definitely was the last 15 minutes – which was wild to the point of being scripted. Justin Herbert played fiercely to save the Chargers’ hopes by throwing four interceptions and there was the bizarre two-point return in the third quarter as well.
It is safe to say, the Texans sure did wake up in the enthusiasm simmering throughout the stadium after the streak of uninteresting games to finish off the regular season.
Joe Mixon and the Texans end the night with a Rex Ryan mocking
Rex Ryan, former New York Jets’ head coach, had been at the centre to call out the Houston Texans as the worst division champions in the league. Speaking on ESPN earlier this week, Ryan claimed that the Chargers “got a bye” by facing Houston. He later reinforced his remarks, warning the Texans on Saturday that they were “in trouble.”
However, just hours later, Houston secured a decisive 32–12 victory over Los Angeles. As running back Joe Mixon celebrated the win on Instagram, he and his teammates didn’t hesitate to call out Ryan by name.

In the video, an unidentified Houston Texans player mocked Ryan chanting, “that boy said a bye week.” To sum up the whole week, Joe Mixon ended the video vibing to Kendrick Lamar’s Squabble Up tunes yelling, “Come on, Rex Ryan.”
In the second AFC Wild Card match of the day, the Baltimore Ravens cleaned off the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Texans have two potential opponents which will only be decided after the Denver Broncos – Buffalo Bills AFC Wild Card game is over. They will not play the Broncos as they are the No. 7 seed, set to play the Chiefs in case they win. The Texans, therefore, play the Ravens in that case. If the Bills win, the Texans play the Bills.
