Conor McGregor is widely regarded as one of the most exciting MMA fighters in the world. However, while he was once celebrated for his remarkable achievements and performances in the UFC, he now faces significant scrutiny. Recently, a friend of UFC commentator Joe Rogan shared his thoughts on the former UFC double champion.

Joe Rogan is not only a UFC commentator but also the host of one of the most popular podcast shows in the world. As a result, he has developed strong friendships with many notable personalities, including American comedian and actor Joey Diaz. Recently, a clip of Diaz surfaced in which he analyzed Conor McGregor’s controversial actions.

He needs a handler… He’s crazy, he’s Irish, he’s crazy, he drinks that firewater, that sets him off and he puts that sh** in his nose.

Interestingly, McGregor encountered Diaz’s comments about him. He appeared to find them amusing, as he reposted the clip on his Instagram account. Notably, for over a year now, the Irishman has developed a concerning and controversial public image. As a result, the general public often sees him in reckless situations, drinking alcohol, gambling away his wealth, and enjoying his extravagant lifestyle.

A few months ago, McGregor faced a troubling situation when he was accused of s*xual assault. After several buzzing trials and revelations, the Irishman was found liable, significantly damaging his hard-earned reputation. American comedian Joey Diaz advised the former UFC double champion to be cautious in his public appearances.

Former UFC star believes Conor McGregor is more likely to compete in BKFC than UFC

Conor McGregor achieved the immense stardom he enjoys today through his hard work in the UFC. However, it has now been over three years since the former UFC double champion last competed in the organization. He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler last year at UFC 303, but an injury to his toe forced McGregor to withdraw. Since then, the Irishman has not been booked for any UFC fights.

Even though McGregor has not fought in the octagon recently, he has remained in the spotlight. After announcing his ownership stake in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships (BKFC), he has been a frequent presence at their events, actively promoting them. Given this involvement, former UFC heavyweight fighter Brendan Schaub believes that McGregor may be more focused on competing in BKFC.

He doesn’t have to worry about his leg here. He’s part owner in it so he can probably manage a little more kind of the opponent and the arena. I think Bare Knuckle is more likely depending on his contract with the UFC. If he comes back to UFCit should be against Nate Diaz who’s been out, old you know just kind of doing this PR thing. Now if he fights in the UFC, you can’t toss him like a top 10 guy, he’s going get eaten alive right now.

Recently, McGregor expressed his willingness to compete in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. As such, he also mentioned his potential opponents, including Jeremy Stephens and Eddie Alvarez. However, the situation surrounding McGregor remains uncertain, as the UFC has not yet made any statements regarding him.
