The buzz is around WWE yet again, this time with another major announcement. Recently, WWE CCO Triple H and President Nick Khan held a meeting with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, regarding hosting WrestleMania in the city.

This was a huge announcement, and John Cena couldn’t stop himself from reacting to it. First of all, he thanked the WWE Universe in the UK for making this possible. Then he expressed his gratitude on behalf of the WWE for the support from the country. The Cenation Leader ended the note with an emotional comment, stating that he would not be wrestling at the event in the future.

The city of London, and all of the UK has supported WWE thru thick and thin. I try to minimize using the word “deserve” so I will use more appropriate terms. I’ve said it before and stand by it. In my mind London has EARNED a chance to host WrestleMania. I won’t get to compete when it happens but I will BE THERE as a fan for sure!

It was forecoming already, as the 16-time World Champion had already announced his retirement tour. He has made it clear that WrestleMania 41 is going to be his last appearance at the event, and that will be in Las Vegas next year. In fact, the last dance of the Franchise Player will last until the end of 2025.

Therefore, there is no way he would be able to compete at WrestleMania in London. Instead, the Hollywood star promised to be present for the show as a fan. It looks unlikely that Cena will change his mind regarding his retirement announcement. As of now, he is set to hang up his boots and bid adieu to his wrestling career in 2025.

Bron Breakker teased a match with John Cena after announcement of his retirement tour

John Cena will be coming back for one last run in WWE in 2025. Ever since his announcement, there have been many stars who have pitched for a clash against the Greatest of All Time. One such star is Bron Breakker, who has talked about facing the Cenation Leader once before his retirement in 2025.

Speaking on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Breakker expressed a wish to have a match with Cena. He claimed that it would be a “great” clash between the two stars. The Dawg of WWE admitted that it all depends on the schedule of the Franchise Player. However, he did not rule out the possibility of a dream match.

Yeah, absolutely. I think me vs. John Cena would be great. So, we’ll see. I don’t know what his schedule is, or how much he’s gonna be around, or whatever, but you never know.

Moreover, the former NXT Champion has been on the rise. He has been a promising star on Raw and will be facing Sami Zayn at SummerSlam next week. It can be an incredible opportunity for him to have a match with a legend like Cena that might work as a passing torch moment for the young star.
