John Cena will begin his retirement tour on tonight’s Raw debut on Netflix. Last week, WWE confirmed Cena’s status for the show and has extensively advertised him for several upcoming events. The sixteen-time world champion will be looking to kickstart his final year as a professional wrestler with a bang. Ahead of his appearance, Cena sent a message to the WWE Universe.
Taking to X, The Franchise Player stated that he was honored to be a part of the historic event. Moreover, the 47-year-old star hyped up the fans by promising a must-see Raw episode tonight. Along with Cena’s appearance, several WrestleMania-worthy matches will take place at the Intuit Dome. The future of The Bloodline is set to be decided in a Tribal Combat warfare between Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.
Elsewhere, the months-long feud involving Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will finally culminate tonight. The latter will defend her Women’s World Championship against The Eradicator. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre continues his quest for revenge as he squares off against Jey Uso.

The main event features CM Punk taking on Seth Rollins as the two look to settle their decade-long animosity. In addition to the in-ring action, several surprises are in store for the WWE Universe. With The Rock and Cena confirmed to appear, a few top stars could return during the show.
The likes of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, who’ve been on extended hiatus, are rumored to come back very soon. Furthermore, reports have suggested that Hulk Hogan might appear. The WWE legend’s beer brand is expected to be one of the ring sponsors for this $5 billion deal with Netflix.
Triple H reveals John Cena’s motives for retirement run
Ahead of John Cena‘s retirement tour, fans have advocated for him to have one final run at the top. This includes Cena winning his 17th world title and main eventing WrestleMania again. However, it seems Cena doesn’t have such accolades in mind for his last year as a WWE Superstar.

Speaking on the SI Media podcast, Triple H outlined The Franchise Player’s mentality. The Game disclosed that Cena will just be there to express his gratitude in every city and arena he appears in. However, The Cenation Leader is seemingly not interested in adding more accolades to his illustrious list.
According to Triple H, John Cena's mindset heading into his final run isn't a focus on main eventing WrestleMania, or winning the World Title:

Despite the WWE CCO’s revelation, reports circulating suggest that Cena will compete in a world title match at WrestleMania. Currently, rumored plans are for the legend to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
