Cena won’t be the first WWE wrestler to make an appearance on The Simpsons. That feat belongs to Bret Hart. The Hitman appeared on an episode of the show in 1997, “The Old Man and the Lisa.” He voiced a caricature version of himself and bought Mr. Burns’ mansion in the episode.

Everybody’s asking me, because Cena has announced his retirement, that, obviously, they want to see us fight each other. I think there’s something to me and him tagging. I think that can be pretty interesting.
