The honor of being the fastest-growing city in northern Ohio is not the only honor North Ridgeville has. North Ridgeville is also home to one of the most unique and football-themed Halloween decorations. Set up in 2014 by the Timoteos on Charles Road, The Graveyard of Brown Quarterbacks is a sensational and quite the spectacle.
The decoration is an homage to the countless number of quarterbacks who have played in the city. The Browns have experimented with 40 different quarterbacks since 1999, the most for any team in the league. They have played nine quarterbacks for just one game, including Bailey Zappe, who started for just one game in the past season.
Amongst these 40 different starters and, of course, the tombstones in Charles Road, was Johnny Manziel. Manziel broke several records in his rookie year at Texas A&M and even won the Heisman, becoming the first-ever freshman to win the title. Drafted 22nd overall by the Browns in 2014, Manziel’s professional career was not something to be proud of though. His vices off the field created several issues for Manziel and led to his downfall.
Manziel has admitted that he didn’t put in enough work to play to his full potential. Nevertheless, he also blamed the city and the team. In a recent interview, he admitted that the city and the vibe were very bad for his mental health. Manziel was previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder. His career started and ended there, and he hasn’t let go of the hatred.
In a recent episode of the Nightcap, the controversial former quarterback admitted he preferred that the Browns to be winless every season rather than letting go of his animosity and hatred.
No love for the Browns. I root for a 0 and 16 season, every season.

Manziel’s statement was met with uproar from fans, the Browns, and otherwise. The reactants reflected on Manziel’s partying and drug abuse while roasting the 32-year-old for the lack of accountability.
Johnny Manziel had thought of making a comeback
The career trajectory of Johnny Manziel, from a freshman who threw for 3,706 yards and 26 touchdowns to being released before his third year of his NFL rookie contract, is a lesson for the ages. After being released by the Browns, Manziel played for a few other smaller league teams before quitting altogether.

At 32, the Texan has had thoughts of making a comeback. In fact, he was specific about it. In the famed podcast where he dissed Cleveland, he also admitted that he would love to play in the NFL once again.
I asked myself this question last year. Got myself into a mindset of like, ‘OK, I’m going to go start working out again, throwing the football around, see if I can still get myself in shape’.
Johnny Manziel said on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast
Additionally, he admitted speaking to his agent, who suggested that he make some plays in the XFL or the UFL. Manziel had told his agent that he didn’t want to play in those leagues. All said and done, the former quarterback understood that this won’t be easy.
As much as I would like to think that that’s something I can do, I think at 32, my chances are probably pretty chopped.

In short, Manziel remains one of the biggest what-ifs in NFL history.
