Jon Jones denies taking steroids against Gustafsson; Praises Daniel Cormier

John Jones surprised and shocked the MMA world on Monday when he announced that he was vacating the light heavyweight title. He left fans thinking over had he stayed possibility.
On the same day but earlier UFC witnessed the retirement of one of the greatest martial artist of all time-Daniel Cormier.
Besides tweeting about vacating the light heavyweight title, Jones ‘Bones’ further added that there was a possibility of his return as a heavyweight.
With this Jones ended his career at 205-pound division. It was in this weight class that Jon Jones established his image as a dominant champion. His first fight with Alexander Gustafsson is surely the best light heavyweight fight of all time. When Jones returned after a break, he fought Gustafsson for the second time.
But in that fight, Jones couldn’t display the same action he had done previously. A fan had asked Jones about his fight with Gustafsson and his intertwined history of run-in with the USADA. Jon replied to this tweet, saying that he hadn’t taken steroids during his fight with Swedish.
Jones Praises Daniel Cormier
Everyone is familiar with the rivalry of Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. There was always a tension in the air when the two came near each other. Besides, the hatred of these two dominated the 205-pounds division for over a decade. However, Jones had still regarded DC as one of the best fighters of all time.
Jones has fought with DC twice and has won both the fights inside the octagon. But the second fight changed into a no-contest as Jones tested positive for turinabol.
