UFC Strawweight Angela Hill talks about Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya

UFC Strawweight Angela Hill was seen talking to a group of reporters in Abu Dhabi, talking about a list of UFC’s topics and her career. She spoke about Adesanya vs Covington as well as Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya and also UFC 253’s main event fight between Adesanya and Costa. Hill started off with saying that Paulo Costa had nothing wrong with his game plan against Adesanya but the latter beat Costa’s leg to sh*t. Hill went onto compliment Adesanya for his strategy going into the fight. 

Talking about Jon Jones, Hill stated that she would love to see Jones fighting in the heavyweight division. Mentioning that Jones looked out of shape in the last couple of his fights in the light heavyweight division. It would have been an indication for him to gain weight and move to a bigger weight division.

While being asked about Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya’s potential fight. Hill suggested that Jones is looking to set a bait for Adesanya to pick up for them to fight. Hill even spoke about Adesanya’s humping over Costa after UFC 253’s win. She humorously said, “Why be mad over dry humping when there was even no penetration?” Hill simple regarded that gesture as funny and nothing to lose one’s mind about.

Lastly speaking about her loss at UFC Vegas 10 against Waterson, Hill said that she feels it should’ve gone her way and it still disappoints her after delivering such a strong performance. She did everything possible in the last round to get the decision in her favour. But she has to live with it and is keen for her future prospect.
