Jon Jones is fighting a war with the UFC to pay him the money he thinks he deserves for the super-fight against the newly crowned heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

In a separate event Jake Paul, the YouTuber turned boxer knocked out Ben Askren in the very first round of their boxing match. Jake has been disrespecting a lot of UFC fighters ever since, and the whole MMA community seems to hate him for that.

But Jake Paul earned a whooping $5 million for this fight, and this caught the eyes of the former UFC light-weight champion Jon Jones, he congratulated Jake with a Tweet, and deleted it immediately.

Jon wrote, “Jake Paul congratulations on your victory, that knockout over Ben was absolutely beautiful. If you’re seriously making over 5 million for a fight already, that’s wild. I’m so happy for you. Wishing you all the best on your combat sports journey.”

UFC 261 took place in Jacksonville Florida, and Jake Paul attended the event, as soon as he entered the building the crowd started chanting “F*ck Jake Paul,” and Daniel Cormier who was in the commentary team took notice went on to confront him.

DC said, “I just saw Jake Paul and I pointed at him and said don’t play with me,” Cause I’ll smack him in the face. He’s right there. I’ll slap him. I don’t play those games, Joe.” After that Cormier went to Jake Paul and they both exchanged some harsh words between each other before security intervened.

The amount of disrespect Jake Paul and his team is showing to these decorated fighters is just insane, but from a business point of view, he is doing everything right. Jake has only faced 4 opponents in the boxing ring, and he already made $5 million in his last fight, so this is something that needs to be appreciated.
