The fan posted multiple of these screenshots in the comment section of The MMA Guru’s X account. He also posted a screen recording that further solidified that this was a true chat and not made up. Neither Jon Jones nor the UFC have commented on this yet. Nevertheless, Jones will only retire if he wins. As such, anything can happen until Jones’ next bout.

Tom Aspinall accuses Jon Jones of ‘playing games’

UFC Interim heavyweight Tom Aspinall recently accused the heavyweight king of ducking him. According to the Brit, Jones purposely avoided a fight by choosing to face aging veteran Stipe Miocic instead. This presented a conundrum as Aspinall now defends his interim belt.

Tom Aspinall revealed that he had talked privately and publicly with Jones on social media. He revealed that there was nothing else he could do to entice Jones to fight him. The Englishman seemed convinced that Jones was purposely avoiding his heavy hands. Aspinall felt that Jones was ‘playing games.’
