Jon Jones says he is going to run through the entire heavyweight division!

Jon Jones

Jon Jones put heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou and the rest of the heavyweight division on high alert after he posted a series of Tweets warning everyone that he was going to destroy the heavyweight division just like he had conquered the light-heavyweight division.

Taking to Twitter Jon first posted that he will take out the heavyweight division through sheer hard work alone, before going on to ask Francis Ngannou to motivate him more.

He also brought out a bit of political statement into his tweets, writing that the greatest title in the world would come back to the greatest country in the world (America).

Before finally tweeting, “If you think you are going to run through America, you are wrong.”

Confusion at the top of the heavyweight division!

There has been a lot of confusion regarding who Francis Ngannou’s next opponent is going to be. After the recent payment dispute between Jon Jones and UFC President Dana White, the UFC are believed to have given number 2 ranked heavyweight contender Derrick Lewis the opportunity to fight Ngannou. Lewis even confirmed it in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of ESPN MMA.

However, Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou think that their fight is up next. Although Francis hasn’t written off a rematch against Derrick Lewis, he believes his next fight would be against Jones.

It was pretty evident in Ngannou’s latest tweet, as he wrote, “I’ll take care of @JonnyBones first then come after @Tyson_Fury.”
