Former WWE figure chimes in to support Logan Paul after his NSFW response to Kevin Nash’s bitter criticism of him
A former WWE commentator believes the scathing response Logan Paul had to Kevin Nash's opprobrium of him is nothing but a work of art.

A lot has transpired between Logan Paul and Kevin Nash in the past 48 hours. It was Nash to fire the first shot. He didn’t have to wait for long as Paul hit right back at him. But what’s the apple of discord here? Actually, the WWE Hall of Famer recently took offense to Logan’s ignorance of fundamental wrestling parlance. Moreover, Kevin was miffed at Paul’s reported $5 million deal with WWE, that too for limited dates.
In response, The Maverick posted a video on X calling out Nash. Logan Paul told the latter that he’s a bitter old guy who’s just mad at Paul for being better of a pro wrestler than Kevin ever was. One of Nash’s contemporaries, Jonathan Coachman, has come out in the 29-year-old’s support. Taking to X, the former WWE commentator cited Logan’s well-rounded reply to Big Daddy Cool as exactly why he’s a great heel.
Jon lauded the YouTuber for using a real-life situation and turning it into an effective promo. Coach even compared Paul to Dominik Mysterio as someone who feeds right into hate to catch the ire of the audience. Coachman asserted that by no means he’s against Kevin Nash. However, Jonathan affirmed that if he were in Paul’s shoes, he would’ve done the same thing.
...............If I was Logan Paul this is EXACTLY what I would have done. And it’s why he is getting paid to work part time and all of you are not. This is next level heel work right here.Jonathan Coachman on X
All this brouhaha escalated when Logan was unable to discern what “shoot” means in wrestling jargon. It rubbed Kevin Nash the wrong way, and he went off on the IMPAULSIVE host. As for the 65-year-old’s reproval of WWE stacking Paul up with loads of money, the former US Champion said he’ll make guys like Nash eat their own words when he eventually devotes a little more time to WWE.
Logan Paul was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam
Logan Paul is enjoying his time away from WWE. His previous payday came at SummerSlam, where he went in as a local wrestler since it was in Cleveland. However, the fans weren’t willing to get behind The Maverick. Instead, they went gaga about his opponent, LA Knight.
It was a pivotal evening in Knight’s WWE career. The Megastar put an end to Paul’s 272-day US title reign in one of the best matches on the entire card. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly was in Logan’s corner. Even MGK’s sneak assist went in vain.
He was no match for a dialed-in Knight, who was a step ahead of the boxer-turned-wrestler in almost every aspect. The erstwhile Eli Drake was crowned as the new champion. And after that, Paul disappeared from WWE programming. As of now, there’s no update on his return.
