Jordan Henderson substituted at half time against Belgium due to ‘muscle tightness’ says Gareth Southgate
Jurgen Klopp’s trusted lieutenant Jordan Henderson could be facing a spell in the sidelines if scan confirm that he is seriously injured

Jordan Henderson could become the most depressing injury for Liverpool if his concerns are serious. He was hooked off at half time against Germany with complaints of muscle tightness. That is obviously a case of fatigue caused by the fixture congestion. Jurgen Klopp is in danger of playing a threadbare squad against high-flying Leicester on November 22.

Henderson’s injury most detrimental to Liverpool

Liverpool have so far coped with the injuries to Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip, Fabinho and Thiago. However when Jordan Henderson is absent on the field, Liverpool play poorly. Liverpool is a different kind of team when their captain is on the field. Liverpool are going into a sort of easy run with opponents except for the likes of Leicester, Wolves and Tottenham.

Jordan Henderson inspires the entire team and his absence will be felt the most. Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will hope that it is just fatigue that he is going through and not anything else serious. Things will soon be known when England next face Iceland. Gareth Southgate it was just tiredness so it will be hoped it is just that.
