Based on his words and how far the Bills have come this season, the signal-caller seemed to have manifested his goal last year, and although the Bills couldn’t succeed beyond the divisional round of the playoffs, they entered the 2024 season with renewed strength and motivation.
Buffalo Bills’ realistic Super Bowl aspirations this season
Compared to the last few years, the Bills may have winning seasons, but they never stood a realistic chance at winning the Super Bowl. This marks the first time the Bills have achieved a better record over their last 12 games while also becoming the first team to clinch the AFC East title this early, since the NFC expanded to a 17-game schedule.
On top of that, the reason why their Super Bowl chances this season are realistic is the way they are winning the games. In the last ten games, only three were one-digit scores and the rest were explosive victories. The most recent was the blow-out feat of 35-10 against the San Francisco 49ers, despite the extreme weather conditions.
Heading into Week 14 of the season, the Bills are currently enjoying an average of 14-point victory. They are sporting the second-best odds of +500 to win the Super Bowl with quarterback Allen as the frontrunner in the NFL MVP race.
