Josh Allen ditches Stefon Diggs to pick rookie WR Keon Coleman with the ‘best body control’
Despite seeing so many receivers while growing up, Bills quarterback Josh Allen believes rookie Keon Coleman has the best body control over all of them.

Keon Coleman was one of the much-talked-about rookies in the recent NFL draft. Following his two years with Michigan State, Coleman transferred to Florida State for his final year, and later the Buffalo Bills drafted him to pair him with quarterback Josh Allen.
Coleman had one of the best seasons of any wide receiver in college football for the Seminoles, recording 50 catches in 12 games for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Bills took him as 33rd overall.
He left an immediate impact on the Bills coaches and won over the fans with his sense of humor. However, his training ground routines proved the reason behind the Bills dropping down to draft him over Xavier Worthy.
Josh Allen appears to be the one most pleased with getting a receiver like Coleman. He compared the 21-year-old to a couple of all-time greats of the game.
When he [Keon Coleman] was going through his college tape, I thought he was kind of a mix between like Michael Thomas and a Dez Bryant. Obviously, big guy, with great body control… I think he’s up there with them.Josh Allen said on the ‘Green Light with Chris Long’ podcast
Surprisingly, Allen did not mention Stefon Diggs, whom he played with for a long time over Dez Bryant and Michael Thomas. It’s a fact both Bryant and Thomas are all pro receivers and may one day end up in the Hall of Fame. That’s also true for Diggs, but he never took his name.

Allen further added that Coleman’s height provides him with an added advantage over other receivers. He towers over the cornerbacks in the team and has the adequate pace to get past them in a straight sprint. Allen credited Coleman’s basketball background for developing his physique.
He [has] the best body control that I’ve seen in terms of running to the right, jumping off his right, and getting left, and then running left side, jumping off his left, and getting right… He’s a gamer, too, and he loves the game of football. I’m excited to throw to him.Josh Allen said
Coleman’s pre-season performance has been encouraging, but there’s also massive room for improvement. He ran 32 routes in his first 2 games, resulting in 6 targets, 2 receptions, and 20 yards.

If Allen wants to get the best out of Coleman, then he should try and sling the ball more to him. His quick feet should prove to be an asset.
