The way Josh Allen and his Buffalo Bills started their season, many felt this was going to be the time when he would finally lead them to challenge for a Super Bowl.
Last season, they exceeded expectations as they were just coming off an offseason where they retooled their squad. This season, their blistering start against the Baltimore Ravens indicates it was finally time for the star quarterback to come of age.
He had everything going for him. Winning the league MVP award, then getting married to Hailee Steinfeld, then coming in with a seasoned roster hungry to do one better than last season.
That hunger saw them comfortably win their next three games. Now they stood alongside the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, as the only remaining undefeated teams this season.
Their attempt to continue that streak fell short, as they could not get anything going in the first half, scoring just a field goal in the second quarter. Fumbles from Josh Allen and Keon Coleman helped their opponents capitalize and take the lead.
We just played sloppy. Not going to win a football game turning the ball over 3 times in our red zone. Gave them one in their red zone. That’s just bad, bad football. We just did not play good tonight. We shouldn’t have even been in it with 3 turnovers, that’s just poor offense.

This was his best summary of their game, as he knows a team turning over the ball that many times cannot be that close in the game. The Bills ended up losing to the Patriots 20-23.
Stefon Diggs praises his ‘dawg’ Josh Allen
This game against the New England Patriots was significant as it was the reunion of Josh Allen with former wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The two met up before the game, but the Patriots star was wearing his helmet, hence, his reactions were not evident through his dark visor.
After the game, the two linked up again. This time Diggs did not have his helmet on, and reporters who noticed the exchange asked the wideout about it at the post-game press conference.
That’s my ‘dawg’ man. Obviously, things happen, business happens. I spent a lot of time here, and I got a lot of love and respect for that young man. He is a tremendous player, and he’s one of the boys… That was my guy.

His words indicate that the beef that was once rumored to be present between the two former teammates, no longer exists. Those words suggest Stefon Diggs loves his former quarterback and has nothing but respect for him.
Stefon Diggs addresses picture of him side-eyeing Josh Allen
Stefon Diggs professing his love and respect for Josh Allen comes almost a year after a famous picture of the two became part of NFL folklore. The picture captured the wideout side-eyeing his former teammate, suggesting there was beef between the two.

Last year they had that picture right of me side-eyeing him. They just caught it at the wrong time. I wanted to speak on that photo, cause I was staring at him in the moment. It was like, ‘Damn, that was my brother.’

The 31-year-old’s clarification might be enough to douse any flames that were existent in the past. That picture has become a meme ever since the two were captured, even leading the Patriots to use it after they won.
The two will meet again on December 14th. This time, it will be Josh Allen‘s turn to visit Gillette Stadium. By then, both teams will have a clearer picture of their playoff chances, as Diggs would like a crack at the postseason.
