Josh Allen possesses a secret bucket list, which he is very close to completing. He plans to check off one of the items after playing at two more NFL stadiums, including the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Bills suffered their first defeat of the season last week after starting the season with four straight wins. Allen’s 20 completions for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 9 carries for 53 yards, weren’t enough to squeak a win against divisional rivals, the New England Patriots.

It was a disappointing result considering the Bills failed to capitalize on the Patriots’ mistake, and the game required a field goal to decide the outcome. Allen has already moved on, and his sole focus is securing a win at the 70,000-seat Mercedes-Benz Stadium, checking off a task from his bucket list.

Just making sure that I know where the play clocks are… just checking them [stadiums] off the bucket list. It’s pretty cool. I mean, I still do what I get to do and love what I am doing, and there was a bucket list to visit all 32 as a kid so, guess this is the way to do that.

Aside from the Falcons stadium, Allen has never played a fixture at Levi’s Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers. The Bills don’t play the Niners this year, unless both teams qualify for the Super Bowl, which is scheduled to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in February 2026.

What is Josh Allen’s record against the Atlanta Falcons?

Allen came face-to-face with the Falcons when the Bills hosted the NFC South franchise in Week 17 of the 2021-22 season. Atlanta led twice in the game—first through a safety and then a field goal before halftime.

However, the Bills chased down the score to record their 10th win of the season. Despite the victory, Allen had struggled in the passing game, completing just 11 passes for 120 yards and throwing 3 interceptions. He made amends in the run game, rushing 15 times for 81 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Running back Devin Stingley Jr. contributed 23 carries for 110 yards and 2 scores.

Matt Ryan was the Falcons quarterback that day. Ryan threw 13 completions for 197 yards as the Falcons scored 15 to the Bills’ 29.

The Falcons have gone through several changes since then. Ryan is no longer around. At present, Michael Penix Jr. steers the ship in Atlanta.

Penix and the Falcons are 2-2 after wins against the Vikings and the Commanders. His numbers aren’t spectacular, but they proved enough to keep the Falcons competitive in the South. Penix has thrown for 918 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.

Allen has a 5-1 record against NFC South teams. He has accumulated 1,431 passing yards, 343 rushing yards, 18 total touchdowns and 9 interceptions against them.

After five games in 2025, Allen has completed 107 passes for 1217 yards (70.4%), 9 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, along with 40 carries for 212 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns.
